No smile lit a room or brightened the world like Chip's. His Center for Medicare Advocacy family is broken-hearted to share the news of his death. We will honor his spirit by continuing to advocate for quality health care and justice for all – by doing our work – and by naming an Advocacy award and fellowship in his memory.
We send our deepest respect and condolences to his remarkable sisters, partner, family, and the myriad people of all stripes who knew and loved him. His memory will be a blessing for generations.
A memorial service was held for Chip on August 3rd at St. Paul's Church, Rock Creek, in Washington DC., where Chip was a long-time member, served on its Vestry and sang in its choir.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Chip's memory be made to the Center for Medicare Advocacy's Alfred J. Chiplin, Jr. Fund (PO Box 350, Willimantic, CT 06226) or to St. Paul's Church.
