CENTER FOR MEDICARE ADVOCACY SUBMITS TESTIMONY TO HOUSE GOVERNMENT REFORM COMMITTEE

Center for Medicare Advocacy attorney Patricia Nemore was scheduled to testify on January 20, 2006 before House Government Reform Committee as part of the Democratic briefing on the Medicare Drug Benefit. However, circumstances prevented her appearance, so the Center submitted detailed testimony on flaws in the program, difficulties faced in the initial weeks, and suggested methods for improving the program.
