CONFERENCE DOCUMENTS

A working conference convened by the Center for Medicare Advocacy, Inc., supported by the Commonwealth Fund, a New York City-based private foundation, and AARP

January 19, 2007

The documents presented below are divided into two sections. On the left are those documents that were produced in advance of the conference and on the right are those documents that were created as a result of the conference. On the left, the background papers and their accompanying presentations are presented first followed by the conference agenda, a presentation on the Medicare beneficiary population, and the memorandum that guided the afternoon discussion On the right, the executive summary of the conference provides a brief overview of the conference while the narrative of the conference proceedings is an in-depth account of what transpired during the conference. Finally, the resulting consensus model is the culmination of the day’s work.
