The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Tom Scully recently issued a letter to the hospice community expressing CMS' commitment to hospice care, and asking health care professionals to think more about hospice as an option for care.  The letter and an accompanying article which CMS published as a paid advertisement in the March/April 2002 Physician Executive Journal (pgs. 34-35) are reproduced below.
